Yehewin Asana

In 2013, I completed my 200-RYS Sadhana yoga teacher's training with the Yoga School Institute/the International Yoga Alliance. I, myself, became certified so that I could access teachings and knowledge which would enhance the way I support others. 

 

For me, physical asana postures and guided breathing, has become a pathway of self acceptance, body-awareness and method to relieve anxiety. 

 

I do not consider myself a teacher but rather someone eager to create safe space for all-bodies to practice restorative movement. It is my responsibility as a guide, to ensure that all practice spaces are anti-racist, decolonial and inclusive for all peoples and abilities. 

Yehewin, is the practice of the breath.
Asana, is physical posture in the life teachings of yoga.
